Transparency & Accountability

Sedona’s residents deserve a city government that listens, responds, and follows through.

Cultural Park Purchase

The city purchased the Cultural Park without a clear plan for what it would become. Major purchases should never happen without a defined purpose and community input.

Parking Garage Concerns

The parking garage is a perfect example of why residents feel unheard.

  1. It was pitched as a solution for employee parking, with free parking included.

  2. It is now millions over budget.

  3. The city manager proposed funding it with fees — but the math doesn’t work.

  4. The council agreed to move forward only if the project could pay for itself through user fees.

  5. The council did nothing to enforce its own conditions.

This is exactly the kind of process that erodes public trust.
